Chennai, August at ANEW
FLO Chennai, in collaboration with ANEW, has successfully launched and executed a “Canva for Beginners” program, aimed at upskilling aroundr 165 women students. This initiative, conducted across ten sessions organized into five batches, provided participants with comprehensive, hands-on training in design skills using Canva.
The program was delivered by experts from Bunjy Digital and covered a wide range of essential topics, including design thinking, visual design principles, branding strategies, social media design, video editing, and animations. Each session was highly interactive, featuring workshops, practical assignments, and personalized guidance to ensure effective learning. Ms Keerthana, Joint Treasurer , Flo Chennai and Ms Priya Goutham, Head, Start up Vertical Flo Chennai are founders of Bunjy and are instrumental in ensuring the success of this program
The training was organized into the following five batches:
– Batch 1: 10 am to 1 pm on July 23 and 29, benefiting 33 students.
– Batch 2: 9 am to 12 pm from July 31 to August 1, benefiting 28 students.
– Batch 3: 9 am to 12 pm on August 8 and 9, benefiting 32 students.
– Batch 4: 2 pm to 5 pm on August 12 and 13, benefiting 36 students.
– Batch 5: 3 pm to 5 pm on August 22 and 23, benefiting 36 students.
The program’s interactive approach enabled students to engage deeply with the material, allowing them to develop and refine their design skills effectively. By the end of the program, participants were equipped with a robust set of tools and techniques, enhancing their design capabilities and providing them with valuable skills for both personal and professional growth. This initiative represents a significant step in empowering women with digital design skills and underscores FLO Chennai’s ongoing commitment to providing impactful educational opportunities.
