Cancer Screening Camp

In continuation of its holistic approach to rural empowerment, FLO Chennai organized a cancer Screening Camp on 22nd July at Village Vedandangal, Ranipet district.

The project partner, Cancare Foundation, established in 2010 as a Public Charitable Trust, provides palliative care to terminally ill patients at their doorsteps. Palliative nurse specialists make house visits in consultation with treating oncologists, offering care in the convenience of patients’ homes.

Attended by 100 women, this event focused on enhancing the overall well-being of women in the community.

The Past Chairperson of FLO Chennai, Akilia Srinivasan, has been pivotal to the success of this program and its continued impact.
