The FLO Chennai Business Networking event brought together 42 members to explore opportunities for business growth through strategic alliances, joint ventures, and new collaborations. The event kicked off with an inspiring talk by our host, Jayadevi, who shared the journey of her family’s ventures, starting with her father-in-law, an Ayurvedic doctor. She detailed how they established Sadhayush, an Ayurveda wellness center, followed by the well-known Medimix brand, and recently, Sadhev, a skincare brand that leverages their rich Ayurvedic legacy.
Dr. Usha Kiran then provided valuable insights into how Ayurveda treatments can support women at various life stages, from menarche to menopause, highlighting the specific treatments available at Sadhayush to aid women’s wellness journeys.
Following these presentations, each of the 42 FLO members present was given 1 minute to introduce their work and business endeavors. This segment was efficiently moderated to ensure everyone had an opportunity to speak within the allocated time. The concise presentations allowed for a dynamic and engaging exchange of ideas, fostering a supportive environment for potential collaborations.
Amulya Rao concluded the formal part of the event with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Jayadevi for her generosity in offering a 20% discount on services and providing goody bags for attendees. She reiterated the event’s objective of understanding and supporting each other’s businesses, emphasizing the importance of recommending and utilizing fellow members’ services.
The event then transitioned into a networking session over a sumptuous high tea, allowing members to connect more personally and discuss potential collaborations in depth. Following the event, members shared their Instagram and website handles on the WhatsApp group, and a Google document was circulated to gather further information and foster ongoing connections.
This event highlighted our commitment to empowering, engaging, and elevating each other through meaningful connections and business opportunities. We look forward to more such enriching events that help our members grow and thrive together.
