FLO Chennai, under the guidance of Chairperson Dr Divya Abhishek, organized a “Business Networking” event at Bhalakh Medical Center, aimed at fostering connections among its members while promoting health awareness. 22 members attended the networking event.

The event started with an address by Ms. Nancy Satish, the Business Networking Vertical Head, who welcomed the attendees and set the tone for the session. This was followed by Ms. Sandhya Rajan, Joint Secretary of FLO Chennai, who spoke about the organization, its impactful projects, and the outcomes of previous business networking meetings.

Ms. Ranjitha Sudanthiram, the host of the event and co-founder of Bhalakh Medical Center, shared her inspiring journey, and the collaborative efforts with her husband to establish the center. Through an engaging presentation, she highlighted the various services offered by the medical center, supported by a virtual tour showcasing the hospital’s facilities and premises.

As a thoughtful gesture, Ms. Ranjitha gifted the members a 50% discount on mammograms, aiming to spread awareness about breast cancer. She emphasized the importance of regular screenings for women above the age of 35 and educated the attendees on self-examination techniques, encouraging open discussions on the subject to break societal stigmas.

The event concluded with a networking session where members introduced themselves and shared brief insights about their professions, businesses, and areas of expertise, fostering collaboration and meaningful connections among the participants.
