Breaking Barriers with Barkha Dutt

A prominent figure in Indian media and journalism, Barkha Dutt’s visit to FLO Vadodara saw a packed house. Barkha spoke on a variety of topics, ranging from politics and social issues to journalism and media ethics. She shared her experiences covering major events and conflicts in India such as the Kargil War and the Mumbai terrorist attacks, as well as other global events.

The event also featured a mock version of the famous Television show “We the People” hosted by Barkha on national television for over a decade. The mock debate was a great way to engage the members in an informative discussion on the social issue of “Reservation for Women”. The show was lively and thought provoking with Barkha Dutt asking probing questions and encouraging panelists to present their views candidly.
