We also received a demonstration of the newly launched Digi Yatra, the new digital experience which promises to revolutionise air travel. Passengers will be automatically processed based on facial recognition system at check points like entry point check, entry into security check andaircraft boarding. Additionally, this will also facilitate bag drop and check-in, using facial recognition to identify pax and data recall. Digi Yatra will facilitate paperless travel and avoid identity check at multiple points.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity to witness and appreciate the behind the scenes functioning of the airport. We all left with a new found respect for the ground staff and crew and all the processes involved to ensure a smooth departure
