On 15th February 2023, YFLO Kolkata invited two dynamic entrepreneurs, leaders in their respective fields, Mr. Sagar Daryani, Founder of the largest home grown QSR Chain in the country WOW! Momo and Mr. Vivek Sahni, Founder of the top skin care and beauty brand Kama Ayurveda, for their event Be Entrepreneurial, Be You : A panel discussion on their entrepreneurial journeys moderated by Miss. Arpita Agarwal, East Head of India’s fastest instant delivery service Blinkit!

They captivated audience attention through interesting and candid conversations around brand building, challenges faced in making a brand popular without celebrity endorsements and remodelling of their respective businesses during the pandemic and much more.

Mr. Sagar & Mr. Vivek spoke about how they started off their journey by selling momos out of a Tupperware tiffin and distributing free Bringadi oil samples at dinner parties, to creating brands that are soon to launch their IPO and have an International presence respectively. It was inspiring to hear their stories and their business learnings which can be applied to our own ventures.

Amidst all the stimulating conversations, what truly left an impression on the audience was when Mr. Sagar came out and spoke about his mental health and how it’s okay to not be okay, and when Mr. Vivek gave his two cents on the theme of the year ‘Be You’ chosen by Shilpa Sethi, Chairperson YFLO Kolkata.

It was an energising evening followed by Kama Ayurveda handing out samples as giveaways to the members and organising a meet and greet with their skin doctor where members got the opportunity to discuss their skin care routine. Wow! Momo gave out vouchers and members were delighted to have a lipsmacking high tea spread of their different momos & Chinese food.

Adding to the theme of the event, YFLO Kolkata had an interesting line up of young budding entrepreneurs displaying their respective businesses.
