On the 75th eventful year of Indian Independence it was Amrit and Swabhiman for FLO NE all the way. It was a celebration with the Indian Army with the pageantry paying a tribute to the glorious history of its people,culture and achievements..
Fuelled by patriotic fervour this memorable collaboration with the Indian Army and children of South Point School left footprints of Iconic murals on the walls of the Cantonment. It was a spectacular mosaic of patriots of Assam creating a niche of visuals. The play of colours was vibrant, unfolding the AKAM message in public space. The strong theme visually impactful representing the euphoria on the 75 th year. The graphic artwork was given patronage by the HQs 51 Sub Area!
The bright sunny day elevated the mood of the large gathering of Army Officers led by the GOC Major General Vikas Saini SM VSM, FLO members led by the Chairperson and the school children artists.
The GOC unfurled the national flag to the strains of the soul stirring national anthem rendered by the school choir. The honourable GOC was effusive in his praise of the artistic talents of the children and of the programme conceived by the Chairperson.
The Chairperson Meghali Das thanked the Indian Army for this venture in commemoration of the spirit of AKAM.
