ASEAN Delegation to FLO Hyderabad

FLO, led by National President, Joyshree Das Verma, and FLO Hyderabad, led by Chairperson, Priya Gazdar, proudly hosted a delegation of 14 Women Business Leaders from the Philippines, who visited Hyderabad on September 8th and 9th 2024. Also present were Co-Founding Chairs of IAWBF – Pacita Juan & Vinita Bimbhet, Past President of FLO, and Maria Cristina Concepcion, Chairperson of PhilWEN. FLO leaders from across India, including Past National Presidents Jayanti Dalmia, Ujjwala Singhania, and Sr. VP Poonam Sharma.
The delegation met with Mr. Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of ITE&C and I&C, Govt. of Telangana at the iconic Telangana State Secretariat, to discuss collaborative business opportunities in different sectors, and to explore industrial and tech opportunities.

Their tour featured a visit to FLO Industrial Park, India’s first 100% Women-owned Industrial Park, showcasing FLO’s dedication to empowering women Entrepreneurs.As part of the B2B meetings, the delegation met industry-specific leaders from AI, Fintech, Coffee, Pharma, Handlooms, Hospitality, Food, Jewellery, Web 3.0, and more.

As part of the cultural exposure, the delegation visited Golconda, witnessed a Kuchipudi dance recital, and enjoyed traditional meals hosted by Past National President FLO, Pinky Reddy, and Past Chairpersons Usharani Manne and Uma Chigurupati.
