FLO Indore organized an exclusive event for its members, offering a rare opportunity to immerse themselves in the art of direction. The event was centered around the shooting of Sooraj Barjatya’s web series “Bada Naam Karenge,” directed by the acclaimed Palash Vasvani, known for his exceptional work on the popular series “Gullak.”
Bada Naam Karenge” is an upcoming web series set to premiere on SonyLIV during Diwali. Musheer Khan serves as the Associate Director, while Shiv Parkash Rathour takes on the role of Director of Photography, ensuring the visual storytelling is compelling and captivating.
The cast of “Bada Naam Karenge” features a lineup of renowned actors, including Kanwaljeet Singh, Alka Amin, Rajesh Jais, Chitrali Lokesh, Rajesh Tailang, Anjana Sukhani, Hritik Ghanshani, Sadhika Sayal, Jameel Khan, Deepika Amin, Gyanendra Tripathi, Ayesha Kaduskar, and Priyamvada.
The shooting provided a firsthand experience of the intricacies involved in the direction and production of a web series. Palash Vasvani, celebrated as one of the most prominent directors in the OTT platform, led the shoot, giving members a glimpse into the meticulous process of directing.
Members were thrilled with the filmmaking process, gaining insights into the various facets of direction. The sheer scale of the production was awe-inspiring. Around 250 crew members, including cameramen, spot boys, photographers, and other essential personnel, were present on set. Members were taken a back to witness the behind-the-scenes activities, including setting up shots, adjusting lighting, coordinating scenes, and managing the cast and crew. The presence of such a large number of professionals provided a comprehensive view of the detailed planning and execution involved in a high-quality production.
The shooting took place at the residence of Ms. Majusha Raghav, a FLO member, who extended exceptional hospitality to all attendees. Her gracious hosting added a personal touch to the event, making it even more memorable for everyone involved.
The members expressed immense excitement and fascination with the entire experience. Many noted that this was their first time witnessing a live shoot, and the event was both educational and entertaining. They were particularly impressed by the professionalism and coordination displayed by the crew and the cast.
