The Annual FLO Retreat in Leh, Ladakh organised by FLO Banglore was a memorable journey filled with culture, adventure, and bonding for all 60 members.
Day 1 began with an early morning flight from Bangalore to Leh via Delhi. The group received a warm welcome at the Grand Dragon Hotel, where they would stay for four nights. After a delicious lunch, members took the day to acclimatize to the high altitude, enjoying local shopping at stalls set up in the hotel. The day concluded with traditional Ladakhi music and dance performances, followed by a fun DJ session, highlighting the rich culture and hospitality of the Ladakhi people.
Day 2 featured a spiritual exploration, starting with visits to the Gurudwara and the historic Alchi Monastery, both providing lessons on compassion and empathy. A stop at the Zanskar Confluence, where the Indus and Zanskar rivers meet, added to the serene experience. The day ended with a formal evening at the majestic Stok Palace, where the group had the honor of hearing from the king during dinner.
Day 3 took the members on a 3.5-hour journey to Nubra Valley. Excitement filled the air with ATV and camel rides across golden sand dunes, followed by a filling dinner and stargazing around a bonfire.
Day 4 was a scenic drive to the iconic Pangong Lake. Dressed in vibrant floral prints, the group soaked in the breathtaking views of the serene water before returning to the Grand Dragon Hotel for a final Masquerade party, complete with live music and dancing.
The retreat was a reminder to respect nature and preserve the beauty of Leh, Ladakh.
