FLO NE conducted FLO Bazaar, one of the finest expositions of merchandise by women entrepreneurs across North East India. The objectives were to enhance pathways, celebration of SHAKTI, collaboration with potential trading partners and a scope to entrepreneurs to grow to the next level.
56 women entrepreneurs including homegrown FLO members took part in it. Chief Guest Parnalekha Paul an actor of repute with moorings in the film industry appreciated the displays, intricate designs of handloom weavers and was in awe of their journey to this level of workmanship. The Chairperson apprised the audience about the lifestyle exhibition curated with leading brands with the network of FLO members in Guwahati city.
The inclusivity fashion show was the highlight of the FLO bazaar. It was a glamorous fashion show with the theme of inclusion for Senior Citizens, Cancer survivors and LGBTQ considered marginalised but brought to centre stage to change mindsets and promise of acceptability and living in dignity.
The event also saw the rlease of the theme song SHAKTI. It was conceptualised by the Chairperson Meghali Das, lyricised by Shrutimala Duara and sung by Ankita Deka. The song embodies power of women and is now a FLO Anthem.
