5 km Walk for Inclusion

FICCI FLO Vadodara hosted a one-of–a-kind 5 km walk for inclusion which was a, one of a kind event, FLO women came together to raise funds for an NGO that works for the differently abled. The fund raising campaign started by FLO Vadodara, raised the ask of 2 lakhs within 24 hours.

The walkathon saw participation in huge numbers and was followed by an inspirational talk from the crew of The Tarini. Naval officer lieutenant commander Aishwarya and Swathi spoke candidly with the chapter of their circumnavigation journey which was a significant achievement for the Indian Navy and a milestone for women’s empowerment in India.
The journey of this all-women’s crew aimed to showcase the Indian Navy’s capability to promote gender equality and women’s participation in challenging and unconventional roles.

The Tarini crew’s journey was a source of inspiration and motivation for women in Vadodara as it highlighted the strength, courage, and resilience of women in the face of adversity.
