3R – REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE IN COLLABORATION WITH INDIA RECYCLES

As an ongoing year long project, YFLO Ahmedabad launched its flagship CSR initiative in collaboration with India Recycles. The 3R project was launched with an aim to make a positive impact by combining sustainability with empowerment of the less privileged. Through this initiative YFLO Ahmedabad enabled the donation of preloved items by members, which were then channeled to communities in need through a reliable and well-established network. Within one month of launching the initiative, YFLO Ahmedabad was able to collect items worth over Rs 2 lakh such as used personal items, clothing, fabrics, books, toys, blankets, playhouse, water bottles, etc. The items will be distributed to over 200+ beneficiaries across weekly slum sales which are organized by our impact partner – India Recycles. With a core focus on the most marginalized communities, the items will ensure the personal dignity of women and children across multiple slums all over Ahmedabad and its outskirts.
