As we look ahead to the term 2024-25 together, I am honored to serve as the Chairperson of our esteemed chapter that embodies the resilience, strength, and potential of the women in our region. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and the potential of collective vision and collaborative action. I am blessed to have a wonderful core team & member group which is dynamic, committed, and passionate about what we do.

Our chapter stands as a testament to the indomitable spirit of the women who have faced and overcome countless challenges, emerging stronger and more determined each time. It is with a profound sense of responsibility and enthusiasm that I take on this role, recognizing the immense opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of women across Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

I firmly believe in the power of education, skill development, innovation, and collaboration as catalysts for women's empowerment. Through targeted initiatives, we will work towards equipping women with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities they need to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

Our region is rich in cultural heritage, and it is imperative that women are given the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from its preservation and promotion. By upskilling women and providing them with opportunities for livelihood, we can empower them to become active participants in the economic and social fabric of our communities.
