Launch of FLO Advocacy & Legal Cell “Women for Women”

FLO Advocacy & Legal Cell “Women for Women” was officially launched in Kolkata on to facilitate economic empowerment of FLO members and other women of India through knowledge of law and legal processes.

A Panel discussion was organised on a very pertinent subject – “Women for Women”. The panelists were- Ms Vrinda Grover (Lawyer, Human Rights & Women’s Rights Activist), Ms Asha Nayar (Lawyer, Senior Partner at S Jalan n Co) and Ms Anupama Sureka (Chairperson FLO Kolkata 2016-17). They were also accompanied on the dias by the two Guests of Honor Smt Ruma Pal (Retired Justice of Supreme Court of India) & Ms Vinita Bimbhet (National FLO President). The Chief Guest for this event was Honourable Governor of West Bengal Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi.
