The Color RED : World Thalassemia Day at FLO Ludhiana

The international thalasemia day was well conducted with over 120 children screened and tested for thalassemia at the Giaspura Govt. School. Dr. Priyanka from apollo counselled each one on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this fatal disease. All the children later participated in a round of quiz and had many queries answered. A week later FLO visited these children again with their reports, fortunately with none diagnosed positive. For the few who turned out to be severely anemic, FLO took full responsibility of their medication and continues to do so.
