YFLO and FLO Hyderabad Joing Programme: Vision for Telengana Date: July 23rd, 2014

One of the biggest events of the year was held on 23rd of this month, where Mr. K. Taraka Rama Rao, Minister of Pachayat Raj and IT for the new state of Telangana was invited as the guest speaker. The event was attended by more than 200 members of FLO and YFLO and was extensively covered by media from print and news.

The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest by lighting of a lamp.

FLO Chairperson Ms. Monika Agarwal welcomed our guest and YFLO Chairperson Ms. ShakuntalaDivi introduced him to all the members.

Mr. K. T. Rama Rao spoke about his “Vision for Telangana”. He elaborated on his vision of how he visualizes Hyderabad 5 years from now. He also highlighted on the opportunities available to the women entrepreneur in the new set of goals for Telangana. Mr. KTR, being a dynamic and broad minded person himself, encouraged all the members to come forward with their queries about the chain of events set forward by the separation of Telangana and Seema Andhra. In a question and hour session which continued on for more than 2 hours, all members got a chance to clear their doubts.

Clearly, this was the most successful event of the year so far. The event came to an end with the honoring of guest speaker by Chairpersons of FLO and YFLO Hyderabad. Ms. ShakuntalaDivi gave the vote of thanks.
