Launch of "PRANA" Health Initiative March 3, 2016

YFLO Hyderabad launched an ambitious initiative “PRANA” health camp to mobilize resources and work for the betterment and well being of underprivileged children. The camp was conducted in 3 government schools supported by FLO CSR wing.
Kulsumpura Government high school
Erramanzil Government High School
Gachibowli Government High School.
Key points:

Our professional partner in this initiative Dr. VRK Medical College Hospital Health and Research Centre mobilised a team of 25 Doctors in various specializations such as general practioners, paediatricians, gynaecologists, dentists and conducted a preliminary investigation camp in 3 schools to ascertain the general health of the children.
A total number of over 2000 children were checked.
They were administered vitamin, calcium and general medication as pe?r? their deficiency diagnosis.
Special classes were conducted on the female reproductive system and hygiene for the girls.
The event achieved its aim of creating an awareness of the importance of health amongst the children and providing general medical assitance and aid to them.

We sincerely hope to continue this good work in phases as we gain more understanding of the needs of these children and prempt illnesses and disease which are likely to cop up from time to time by being committed and actively engaged in this initiative.
