Change of Guard April 24, 2015

The Installation and Change of Guard ceremony is a momentous time to relive the memories of the year gone by and to set the vision for the coming year.

The program began with the presentation of events held last year, by FLO Chairperson Ms. Monika Agarwal and YFLO Chairperson Ms.Shakuntala Divi. This was followed by the formal change of guard where the incoming FLO chairperson Ms.Rekha Phumra Lahoti and YFLO Chairperson Ms.Samia Alam Khan assumed office. While Ms.Samia Alam Khan shared her vision for the year- ‘Learn, Implement, Inspire’ focusing on growth and development of the members, the chapter and the organization. This was followed by the introduction of FLO and YFLO Committee members.

The event had Journalist turned Politician and Social activist Ms. Shazia Ilmi grace the occasion as the chief guest. She spoke on “Principle Politics”. Besides highlighting the role of women in politics she talked about using politics effectively as a vehicle to drive the growth of our nation.
