REALISING YOUR DREAMS…..THE WAY FORWARD”

FLO NE , in collaboration with the Cotton College Women’s Forum, conducted a Career Guidance and Counselling Programme, “REALISING YOUR DREAMS…..THE WAY FORWARD”, at Cotton College State University. About 50 students from the Humanities Stream were given information, about the courses available in different Universities across India and abroad, how to get admissions , and the various career options that are then available, (more than 300).

This event was made possible by Dr Rupa Das Borbora, HOD, Education Department and former President of The CCWF. Many Professors and lecturers attended, including the Vice Principal , Dr Subrata Sharma, and they were all highly appreciative of the programme, conducted flawlessly by FLO Members Jayashree and Gitanjali. Mrs Simi Deka, Secretary, CCWF, anchored the event, helped by Dr Rupali Bhuyan, President CCWF.

The students, though shy and inhibited, were bright and eager to gain information. Smita Agarwal, introduced the other FLO Members present, Jahnabi Phookan, Queen Oja, Saroj Khemka, Prabidita Bharati, Geetashree Barua,Bela Nawka, Nilam Agarwal, Latika Jhunjunwala, Shradha Goenka and Kusum Garodia, thus showcasing the wide and varied profile of careers FLO Members have.
