HEALTH Check-up Camp

Ficci Ladies Organisation ,North East Chapter , started the new year by organizing a HEALTH Check-up Camp with medical personnel from the prestigious Downtown Hospital on 4th Jan 2015, at Kiling Village Kamrup Metro District .

Many members volunteered to go to the camp on a Sunday and despite the sudden downpour about 80 village folk turned up to avail of the services of the 4 doctors and 6 nurses , a rarity in that village. Others, unfortunately could not travel down the hills due to the rain . Babies, children, women , older citizens all lined up in the Village Church premises , creating a festive atmosphere against the backdrop of the beautifully situated village, which is lacking a school, hospital and toilets.

Mrs Suruchi Bajaj , FLO member from the Northeast kindly donated 4 large boxes of medicines.
