Experiential Workshop on Building Successful Relationships using NLP Delhi, August 20th, 2010

On August 20th, Yflo held an all day experiential workshop on Building Successful Relationships using NLP from 10 am to 5 pm at the Lalit Hotel. It was a paid for workshop where we charged FLO and YFLO members Rs 1000 and Non members Rs 1800. First time in the history of Yflo the workshop was completely over subscribed and we had to turn people away. Inspite of the rains and the huge jams on the road we had a full house with about 65 people attending.

People were intrigued to learn about the topic of NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming. NLP is a powerful approach used to improve your personal relationships and reach greater levels of achievement at work. In simple terms, NLP techniques are likely to improve our ability to connect with others successfully, improve communication, propel change and enhance performance.
We learnt how everyone can be divided into 3 major groups – Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic and how this influences the way we respond to everything around us. We learnt to decipher what kind of a person we are and how to make out what others around us are. With that knowledge one can communicate with each person differently in order to get your point across better.

The Resource person, Devyani Bhatnagar was a certified NLP Master Practitioner. She has developed various modules and has also conducted training programs on a range of topics like team building, leadership skills, communication and personal enhancement skills for various Indian and multinational companies.

Devyani managed to get all the participants really enthusiastic and involved by making them do a variety of exercises and experiments in groups.

The workshop was exciting, practical and informative with real take-home value to enhance our lives.
