FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Jaipur Chapter in association with Aspiration organized the two-day FLO Bazaar at the SMS convention center in Jaipur attracted huge crowd of buyers for the mega shopping festival. Right from the morning there was a hustle and bustle at the bazaar.
FLO Bazaar is a platform for women entrepreneurs to showcase/launch their products and enhance their entrepreneurial skills. All this adds to our objective of women empowerment and leads to higher and sustainable growth.
The event was inaugurated by Olympian and Asian Medallist, Shagun Chowdhary with the traditional lighting of the lamp. She also went around the exhibition and visited each stall.
On the occasion, Shagun said that the FLO Bazaar was a huge effort to promote the artisans and craftspersons not only from the city but also from the rural areas. She particularly appreciated the free space provided by the organizers to different NGOs in the city for selling their products. She further said that the exposition and the bazaar will go a long way in giving a fillip to the different kinds of designer ethnic apparel, craft products, kidswear and home décor items.
The Chairperson of FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Jaipur Chapter, Ms. Apra Kuchhal said, “FLO Bazaar is an initiative to promote entrepreneurial skills among women. We have around 55 women, participating from various cities across the country.
The FLO Bazaar has been organized along with ‘Aspiration’ which was represented by Ms. Shalini Agarwal.
It is to be recalled that as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), FLO is providing free space to NGOs namely RUDA, Umang, Rays, among others.
