Talk on “Myths and facts about women’s Health” by Dr. Nayna Dastur At Joss, Kalaghoda Mumbai, October 8th , 2010

YFLO Bombay organized a talk on “Myths and facts about women’s Health” by Dr. Nayna Dastur (MD, FICGO, DGO, DFP) – a leading Obstetrician and Gynecologist of Mumbai on 8th October, 2010. She has a special interest in Gynecological Surgery & Endoscopy, Reproductive endocrinology, Menopause & HRT and High Risk Pregnancy. Currently Dr Dastur is a Consultant with the Breach Candy Hospital and Sir H.N Hospital and heads the prestigious Dastur Clinic at White Hall, Kemps Corner.
The event was well attended by YFLO members. Dr Dastur spoke extensively on the various health issues faced by young girls & newly married women. She stressed on the harmful effect of smoking, non usage of contraceptives & lack of exercises in the urban lifestyle.
The YFLO chairperson and her committee have worked with Rahil Shah, CEO of NM Medical , one of the city’s best diagnostic laboratories to provide FLO and YFLO members relevant check-up packages at discounted rates. The packages have been worked out based on a 25-35 age group and one for all women above the age of 35.
