Factory visit to Basta at Chrompet

Backed by over two decades of experience in international retail, BASTA was started by Ajay and FLO member Peachy Bawa in October 2004. BASTA has been acknowledged by the hoi polloi as the primary name brand for fashion handbags in leather. BASTA bags are global in appeal and are now sold in three continents. Fine boutiques carry the line and at the flagship BASTA store in Chennai, attention has been paid to utility and durability to give the customer outstanding value – every time. And it’s all cool, street chic! The members toured the factory to see how the product moved from design to execution. Peachy Bawa also shared how the brand had evolved over the years and her experience as the designer /entrepreneur who has been responsible for its appeal and success story.
