An Afternoon with Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar

Madhur Bhandarkar the National Award-winning film director, script writer, and producer was in the City of Joy to interact with the FLO Kolkata members on “A Man’s Journey in a Woman’s World- the influence of women on cinema & his works.

Most of us have loved watching his films which include Chandni Bar, Page 3, Corporate, Traffic Signal, Fashion and Heroine. It has been his work & expertise which has helped us understand & relate with the female leads of his movies.

At the event he spoke about his female leads & their award winning characters which gave a clearer view of the life in front of the camera & how the reality motivated him to follow his instincts & direct his films.

The members found him to be very down to earth while he answered all questions raised by them. The event was a big success with over 180 members & guests present for this interactive afternoon.
