Vidya & Diksha

FLO Kolkata contributed ₹40,000 to support adult literacy programs under the Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM). The chapter ₹20,000 sponsored a Vidya Centre, ensuring structured education for non-literate adults, especially women. The support will strengthen learning centers, provide essential educational kits, and create a long-term impact in marginalized communities.

Vidya Model, a trained Akshar Sathi, a community teacher, educates 40+ adult learners over 60 structured sessions. Diksha Model, a student volunteers mentor non-literate adults.
