Digital Literacy on Wheels

FLO Kanpur, led by Chairperson Ms. Nalini Sanwal, conducted a 5-day session titled “Digital Literacy on Wheels” to equip women and girl children with essential digital skills. The session, under the National Initiative – FLO Digital Literacy aimed at fostering digital empowerment and enabling participants to navigate the digital landscape confidently.

The program impacted 30 students each from Singpur, Kheorakhatri, and Pratapur villages, making a total impact of 90 students. Dr. Anuradha Varshney joined the initiative and shared her guidance and support in handholding this impactful project

Key Highlights:

  • Hands-on training sessions on basic computer operations and coding classes.
  • Awareness of internet safety and practical applications of digital knowledge.
  • Interactive activities to engage and encourage participants.
  • In partnership with NimbleQ as the knowledge partner and E&ICT Academy, IIT Kanpur as the certification partner, the program
    will offer additional certifications to participants in February 2025.

Participants gained an enhanced understanding of fundamental digital concepts, gained confidence in using digital devices for educational and livelihood purposes, and learned awareness of safe online practices.
