FLO JKL Gains Support from Labour & Employment Secretary J&K, for WeFLO Portal

FLO Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh Chairperson Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, accompanied by the core team, engaged with the Secretary to Government, Labour & Employment Department, Mr. Rajeev Ranjan (IAS), to garner support for WeFLO.

WeFLO is a dedicated job portal aimed at empowering women in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. The team outlined the chapter’s initiatives and highlighted the portal’s role in bridging the gap between women job seekers and tailored employment opportunities.

The Secretary appreciated FLO JKL’s efforts and proposed exploring a collaboration to integrate the portal with the government’s YUVA app, which focuses on employment and skilling. Further, the Secretary assured full cooperation from the department, emphasizing the importance of creating inclusive opportunities for women and strengthening partnerships with local industries.
