Create. Capture. Connect: Master the Art of Reel-Making

FLO Chennai, under the leadership of Chairperson Dr. Divya Abhishek and Joint Treasurer Ms. Ruchita Saraogi, hosted a workshop titled “Create. Capture. Connect: Master the Art of Reel-Making”, at Tattva Studio, Nungambakkam. The event was organized by the Spark: Travel and Photography vertical, led by Ms. Harsha Sajnani and Ms. Shalini Bhandari, and was attended by 45 people.

The workshop was designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the world of Instagram Reels, empowering them to create compelling, engaging content. Attendees began by understanding the fundamentals of Instagram Reels, including their growing influence on digital platforms and how they can be leveraged for personal branding and business promotion.

Key techniques were explored, including the strategic use of visuals, music, text overlays, and transitions to enhance storytelling and engage viewers. Practical tips on shooting high-quality reels using just a smartphone were also covered, with an emphasis on lighting, framing, and editing to produce polished content.

Hands-on experience was a central feature of the workshop, as participants created their own Instagram Reels during the session. Expert guidance was provided to help refine their content, with personalized feedback given to each participant.

Participants learned how to use trends, calls-to-action, and analytics effectively to increase their reach and connect with their audience. The Spark: Travel and Photography vertical added its expertise in composition, photography, and video editing.

This initiative by FLO Chennai provided members with valuable tools and strategies to enhance their digital presence, fostering creativity and enabling them to create authentic and impactful content.
