Jaipur Art Fair – Chaapaa Mandi

FLO Jaipur organised the one-of-a-kind platform created for artists and workmanship titled, Art Fair – Chaapaa Mandi. The artists were given free stalls sponsored by committee members to display their handloom & handcrafted work. The Art Fair, under the initiative HAndloom, Textile & Handicrafts, witnessed a footfall of 1500 people creating a market for the artists. In total, 88 stalls were booked across the Art Villa, Craft Villa, and Food Villa. 5000 Enquiries were received throughout a 2-day event generating a business of approx. 3.25 Crores.

Special awards and recognitions were given to the National Award Winners and all the artisans participating in the Jaipur art fair. The Craft Villa section highlighted traditional crafts and contemporary designs, promoting the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan and other regions which included displays from 15 national award-winning artisans.

There was a live block printing workshop at the show to create awareness about the Rajasthan Craft. 700 FLO members, 1500 footfall of Jaipur people, 500 students, and 100 artisans’ participated in the workshop.
