Diwali Celebration at Shishu Sarothi, Guwahati

Members of FLO North East Chapter celebrated Diwali at Shishu Sarothi School for differently abled children. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the happiness and excitement of the children in celebrating the festival of lights.

As an ongoing skill development programme, the school encourages the children to make earthen lamps every year and sell them to people. So the members decided to burn “One lamp for one Child” and soundless crackers were burnt .A game of raffle was organised for the children and every child was given a gift. Sweets, snacks and chocolates were also distributed among them
