Delegation Visits AIIMS to Explore State-of-the-Art Medical Facilities

A delegation from FLO JKL visited the newly constructed AIIMS Hospital in Vijaypur to explore its state-of-the-art medical infrastructure. Under the guidance of Dr. Shakti Gupta, Director of AIIMS Jammu, the visit allowed members to tour the cutting-edge facility and learn about advancements in healthcare in the region.

The visit featured an informative session by Dr. Meeta Gupta, Dean of Academics and Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at AIIMS Jammu. She gave a detailed presentation on women’s health issues including PCOS, cervical cancer, breast health, and menopause. She addressed myths surrounding these health concerns and discussed preventive and post-treatment options.

Dr. Meeta Gupta encouraged FLO JKL members to promote women’s health through their forum. Ruchika Gupta shared the group’s health initiatives this year, including cancer awareness and vaccination drives, and thanked Dr. Shakti Gupta for facilitating the visit.
The delegation then toured the hospital in electric carts exploring the digital library, 1000-seater convention center, OPD, and emergency sections. The visit concluded with lunch at the AIIMS cafeteria, where Ruchika Gupta extended thanks to the AIIMS team for their support in making the visit a success.
