FLO NE conducted a health camp focussing on Eye and Dental problems Camp at Borgaon Tiwa Village, Morigaon in collaboration with the Guwahati Lion’s Eye Hospital. This initiative was taken up as a part of its CSR initiatives, benefitting over 160 patients.
Out of 117 patients screened for Cataract, by Dr John Sangma, 13 will be brought to Guwahati, by FLO NE, for being operated upon. About 52 people, young and old, were checked for dental complaints, by Dr Parminder Kaur.
FLO NE members Queen Oja, Saroj Khemka, Mrs Goel, Rupjyoti, Sabita, Manju, Alka, and Sarita participated in the programme and made the health camp beneficial for the under – privileged villagers. Sr. Vice Chairperson Jayashree Verma facilitated the arrangements along with the Manager of Gopal Krishna Tea Estate, Mr Rahul Srivastava.
