Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson of FLO JKL, was invited as the Guest of Honor along with FLO JKL members at the inaugural ceremony of the Gandhi Shilp Bazaar. The event was organised by the Handicrafts Service Centre, Jammu, under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India on October 11th, 2024.
The experience was delightful, interacting with artisans from across India, with inspiring participation from women artisans. These women are not only fostering opportunities for their fellow artisans but also running micro-industries and earning dignified livelihoods. Their commitment to empowering others and promoting traditional crafts was truly encouraging.
This event was a resounding success as it highlighted the power of collaboration and entrepreneurship, perfectly aligning with FLO’s mission to uplift women through sustainable development and economic inclusion.
