Signing MoU with SPPND Govt. Degree College Samba

SPPND Government Degree College Samba marked a remarkable milestone towards fostering women’s empowerment and leadership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FLO JKL. The MoU was signed by Principal SPPND Govt. Degree College Samba, Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri and Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson FLO JKL on October 18th, 2024. This collaboration focuses on providing skilling and entrepreneurship programs, outcome-based learning, internships, workshops, and awareness initiatives to prepare students for real-world challenges.

Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Twinkle Suri urged that the partnership symbolises a shared vision of empowering the next generation of women. She further added that this collaboration will enable female students to break barriers, challenge stereotypes, and step confidently into the world with the tools they need to succeed.

Mrs. Ruchika Gupta, Chairperson of FLO JKL, outlined the forum’s dedication to creating a nurturing environment for women’s growth and success. She interacted with students during the event, encouraging them to take full advantage of the opportunities this collaboration offers. She also emphasised the importance of equipping young women with the right skills and mindset to succeed in the entrepreneurial world.

The collaboration marks the establishment of a Young Women Affinity Group (YWAG) at SPPND GDC Samba. Through YWAG, female students will gain access to a wide range of opportunities provided by FLO JKL.
