Chennai, 29th August at Taj sats Air catering
On 29th August 2024, an important meeting took place between FLO and Taj SATS, where an MOU was signed by FLO Chairperson Divya Abhishek and GM Faisal Khan, formalizing their collaboration for Taj SATS’ CSR program. A three-member team, comprising Ms. Rupali, Ms. Vharsha, and Ms. Shalini, was given an insightful tour of Taj SATS’ kitchen operations to understand the intricacies behind their CSR activities. The tour provided a comprehensive view of the food preparation process, from raw materials entering the kitchen to the final stages of security, hygiene, and packaging before the food is delivered to different flights.
Taj SATS emphasized the strict regulations they must follow due to government, airline, and other external requirements, limiting the number of visitors allowed in their facility. Ms. Nicholas from Taj SATS mentioned that she would revert regarding the possibility of allowing more FLO members to visit. Additionally, Taj SATS has been requested to share their guidelines for candidate selection and details of their training program. The event was documented with photos taken by Ms. Vharsha.
