PLANTATION PROGRAM: BY FICCI FLO, BHUBANESWAR CHAPTER

The FICCI Flo, Bhubaneswar in collaboration with Rays Foundation, organized a plantation drive at Bidyadharpur, Biribati Cannel Road, Cuttack, Odisha aimed at promoting environmental sustainability and enhancing green cover in the community. This initiative focused on planting trees in public spaces, schools, and residential areas to improve air quality, combat climate change, and support biodiversity. This drive has been done under the National Initiative – PARTNERSHIPS, COLLABORATIONS & ASSOCIATIONS.

Rays Foundation is a public charitable trust committed to making a positive impact across various social sectors. The foundation actively engages in community development activities through initiatives like health awareness campaigns, cloth distribution drives, and blood donation camps. Through partnerships and grassroots efforts, the foundation aims to bring meaningful change and promote a more inclusive and compassionate society.

During the event, volunteers from both organizations, along with local community members, participated in the planting of a variety of native trees. The drive also included educational sessions on the importance of tree plantation, environmental conservation, and the long-term benefits of preserving natural resources.
