Women Industry Association: Empowering women in business through a supportive ecosystem, fostering equity and inclusive prosperity

As part of FLO’s MOU with ni-msme, we are committed to facilitating talks by industry experts during the organisation’s executive training programs. On August 1st, Chairperson, FLO, Hyderabad and Director & CEO RBC Worldwide, Ms Priya Gazdar gave a detailed talk on “Women Industry Association: Empowering women in business through a supportive ecosystem, fostering equity and inclusive prosperity” detailing FLO’s journey and purpose for “International workshop on effective policies, programs and schemes for Empowering youths and women in establishing and managing MSMEs” held by ni-msme and AARDO (African-Asian rural development organisation).

AARDO is an autonomous intergovernmental organisation comprising country governments of Africa and Asia for South-South cooperation in rural development of Afro-Asian region.

The session was attended by senior officials and bureaucrats from 13 countries. It was a highly informative presentation with active participation from the audience. This initiative was coordinated by EC Head, MSME Assist Cell, Neha Reddy, along with team members Soumyaa Rao and Hima Saila .

Key highlights of the initiative

– Empowering Women in Business: Ms. Priya Gazdar, Chairperson of FLO Hyderabad and Director & CEO of RBC Worldwide, delivered an insightful talk on “Women Industry Association,” focusing on how a supportive ecosystem can empower women in business and promote equity and inclusive prosperity. She highlighted FLO’s journey and its impact in fostering women’s empowerment.

– International Engagement and Participation: The presentation was part of an international workshop on empowering youths and women in managing MSMEs, hosted by ni-msme and AARDO. Senior officials and bureaucrats from 13 countries attended, indicating a significant global interest in the subject.
