At the Vidya Balan event, FLO Bangalore’s SOCIAL INITIATIVES SKILLING set up three vibrant stalls showcasing the incredible work of girls from the Vidya Foundation and artisans supported by ‘A Hundred Hands’.
Through tailored courses and the generous contribution of fabrics from our members, these women have been empowered to create beautiful products like table mats, cushions, and wine bags. The response was overwhelming, with robust sales, thanks to the support of our community. Special thanks to Shruti Sujan for her invaluable support in this project.
FICCI FLO Bangalore is proud to partner with A Hundred Hands, supporting five clusters of artisans. Two of these clusters had the opportunity to showcase their craft at the event, further highlighting the incredible talent within our community.
National President, Joyshree Das Varma, praised the remarkable work of the Social Initiatives team and handed over a cheque to Mala Dhawan, Co-founder of A Hundred Hands.
Anupama Gupta sponsored these clusters, helping the Chapter to continue empowering women and preserving traditional crafts.
