FICCI FLO JKL Launches Skill Development Program for Rural Women

FICCI FLO JKL launched a five-day Skill Development Program for the women of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Jammu Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM). This initiative for the first batch of 20 women from JKRLM aims to enhance the skills of these women in creating festive gifts, hampers, and home products, which they will have the opportunity to sell at a complimentary stall provided to them during FICCI FLO JKL’s upcoming exclusive exhibition, Vibrant Verve – Season 2.

The program’s objective is to equip the women with the necessary training to become financially self-reliant and improve their livelihood opportunities. With resources provided by FLO JKL, the women are being trained in blocks, allowing each group to work collectively within their own clusters.

This training will enable them to produce festive products that they can sell to earn an income.
