Agaaz – Ek Nayee Subah Ka

FLO Amritsar Chapter commenced its seventh year with a dynamic inaugural event titled “Agaaz…ek nayee Subah ka.” The event marked the beginning of a new chapter for
FLO Amritsar Chapter, celebrating its commitment to women empowerment and community development.

The event was graced by the presence of Guest of Honour Neha Dhupia, a renowned figure in the Indian entertainment industry. Known for her versatility as an actor, model and television personality, Neha Dhupia has captivated audiences with her striking looks and strong on-screen presence. Beyond her entertainment career, she is a vocal advocate for social causes, using her platform to promote awareness of issues such as women’s rights and body positivity.

Change of Guard

Dr Simarpreet V Sandhu, the newly inducted Chairperson of FLO Amritsar Chapter, was bestowed with a ceremonial medal by the past chairpersons Gowri Bansal, Arushi Verma, Meeta Mehra, Manjot Dhillon and Imm Past President Himani Arora. This honor signified her official assumption of leadership and acknowledged her role in guiding and representing the prestigious organization.

FLO Round Table

The first FLO Roundtable of the year 24-25 featured Nagma Khanna, an Educational Entrepreneur; Shireen Kumar, an Educator;
Tina Bhinder, a Trunk Show Curator; and Nishtha Gupta, a Psychiatrist, in conversation with Neha Dhupia on the topic of women empowerment.

Launch of Rural Initiative

The event also featured the unveiling of the Rural Livelihood Initiative by Neha Dhupia and the Rural Initiative team.
The Rural Livelihood Initiative in collaboration with Mukul Madhav Foundation aimed at improving the economic and social well-being of rural & suburban women at grassroots levels and strengthen women’s participation in building the rural economy.

Member Networking

The event concluded with networking among members and their spouses over music and dinner. This enjoyable gathering allowed over 600 attendees to foster new connections and strengthen existing relationships. The ambiance, filled with lively conversations and camaraderie, was the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening.
