MOU SIGNING WITH RAJALAKSHMI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Purpose of the event :
FICCI FLO Chennai signing a MOU with Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology focusing on Campus to Corporate readiness.

What MOU entitles :

1. To promote skill development training programmes for students referred to as “ Campus to Corporate Readiness.”

2. To establish knowledge sharing through arranging talks from the Industry Experts and Women Entrepreneurs.

3. To train students for mentorship to develop Entreneurship and incubation start ups.

4. To promote Entreneurship and professional Excellence among women students through Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Training and
Capacity Building Programmes.

Impact Created :

Flo executive members had a half day session with the students of RIT college and they talked about the importance of career and future goals which had a huge impact on :

1. Their enhanced goal setting :

Conversations about the future with the FLO team encouraged students to set realistic and achievable goals. Clear goals would help provide direction and purpose to students, making them more focused and driven.

2. Increased self awareness :

These discussions helped students reflect on their interests , strengths and aspirations.

3. Boosted motivation:

The session helped students to understand the relevance of their studies and put more effort to succeed in achieving their goals.

4. Resilience and Persistence:

This session helped students to understand their long term goals that will help them to develop resilience. This will help them to persevere through challenges and setbacks.

5. Better decision making:

The session with the FLO team helped students to have a clear vision of their future and a plan to achieve it. This will help them to choose courses, extra curricular activities, and career opportunities that will align with their goals and values.

6. Increased engagement:

The session was very interactive and the students got to know the impact of their learning which increased the overall enthusiasm and participation.

7. Long term success :

The session with the students led to them knowing about the long term success in future that would help them achieve their personal and professional goals.

Talking to students about their future and motivation would not only be beneficial for their personal growth but will also have a wider impact on academic performance and societal development.
