As a curtain raiser to the daylong MSME Conclave on June 24th, FLO Hyderabad organised a knowledge exchange session ‘Navigating to Success – The MSME Way’ at the National Institute of MSME campus on 31 May, 2024. The 64 years old organisation – the only one of its kind in India – assists the Central Government in formulating policies for micro, small and medium enterprises, and helps practicing and potential entrepreneurs through training, research, consultancy, education and more.
In her keynote speech, Dr. S Glory Swarupa, Director-General, ni-msme reiterated that their focus over the next year is to double the number of women entrepreneurs in India, which aligns perfectly with FLO’s mission to empower more women, at all financial and social levels. Senior faculty from ni-msme apprised the gathering about the various MSME schemes that can be availed by women entrepreneurs and the benefits of Udyam registration. A Canara Bank officer took the audience through the bouquet of loans and banking services available for registered MSMEs.
An Udyam Registration Drive was launched on the occasion, and 12 FLO members and 10 non-FLO members were helped in obtaining their registrations on the spot by the MSME Help Desk, which will now be available on all weekdays at the FLO office in Hyderabad
While FLO can now access all services and programs offered by ni-msme, the Institute is looking forward to host FLO women leaders as speakers in their learning and motivational programs.
The session ended with a highly-inspirational Case Study presentation by Radhika Agarwal, a successful MSME entrepreneur from FLO Hyderabad
