Acropolis Institute extended a warm invitation to the trainees to visit their AICTE IDEA Lab and participate in an awareness program for the industry. The visit was an invaluable learning experience for the students as they observed industry operations and practical applications, which will significantly aid them when they transition into professional roles.
Impact
In a significant stride towards bridging the gap between academic learning and industry practices, FLO Members along with 40 students, mentored by FLO Indore members and receiving technical training from InfoBeans Foundation, embarked on an enriching industrial visit to the Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore. This visit was meticulously organized to provide students with a firsthand experience of industry operations.
Key Highlights
Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, renowned for its academic excellence, has been distinguished as one of the top 49 institutions in India by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to establish an IDEA Lab under Project Phase-I. The AICTE IDEA (Idea Development, Evaluation & Application) Lab at Acropolis is a cutting-edge facility aimed at enhancing the learner’s experience through the practical application of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fundamentals. It promotes hands-on learning and fosters product visualization, nurturing imagination and creativity in students.
The IDEA Lab is designed to equip students with essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, design thinking, collaboration, communication, and lifelong learning. By providing a platform for experiential learning, the lab aims to prepare students for real-world challenges and industry demands.
FLO Indore commitee members, Ms.Namrata Garg, Ar. Varsha Dagra, and Chhavi Doshi, accompanied the mentee students to Acropolis Institute for the IDEA Boot Camp. Their guidance and support were instrumental in making this visit a success. Ms.Anupama Modi from FLO Indore committee also deserved special acknowledgment for facilitating this visit, ensuring that the students gained maximum benefit from this unique opportunity.
Extending her heartfelt gratitude to the Acropolis Institute, FLO Indore Chairperson, Ar Vibha Jain Sethi said – “the visit to the IDEA Lab was an eye-opener for many of our students offering a glimpse into the practical applications of their academic knowledge.
