Meeting with Director JKEDI (Jammu Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute)

FICCI FLO JKL held a productive meeting with Mr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma, Director of the Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), as part of their outreach efforts to identify collaborative opportunities to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem for women. The discussion focused on various supportive measures, including providing mentorship, understanding and leveraging existing schemes, and fostering a nurturing environment for startups.

The meeting proved highly beneficial, with JKEDI expressing strong enthusiasm for collaboration and a commitment to collectively promoting startups in the region. Both parties discussed extending support to entrepreneurs registered on the JKEDI portal and explored avenues such as angel investing, incubation, and grants for students with startup ideas.

By collaborating with JKEDI, FICCI FLO JKL aims to provide women entrepreneurs with access to crucial resources, including funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. This partnership is expected to play a significant role in empowering women to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to the economic development of Jammu and Kashmir.
