Workshop on Make Your Own Bioenzyme

In a bid to promote chemical-free living, the Flo Ahmedabad Chapter, in association with the Ahmedabad Management Association, organized a hands-on workshop to educate participants on making their own bioenzymes. The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the various uses of bioenzymes and how they can effectively replace conventional products like floor cleaners, utensil and cloth detergents, air fresheners, and even act as liquid growth promoters and fertilizers for plants.

The workshop saw an enthusiastic participation of 60 individuals, all of whom benefitted from the interactive sessions and initiated the process of making their own bioenzymes. The expert facilitators for the workshop included Dr. Geetika Saluja, a mentor in Education in Sustainable Development, Amit Ashara, an environmental enthusiast, and Sunny Prajapati, a young natural farmer.

Dr. Geetika Saluja shared her expertise on sustainable living practices and the importance of reducing chemical usage in daily life. Amit Ashara emphasized the environmental benefits of using bioenzymes, while Sunny Prajapati provided practical insights into natural farming and the role of bioenzymes as organic fertilizers.

Participants were guided through the process of creating bioenzymes from readily available kitchen waste, highlighting the simplicity and effectiveness of this sustainable practice. The hands-on approach ensured that attendees not only learned the theoretical aspects but also gained practical experience in making bioenzymes.

The workshop received positive feedback from participants, who appreciated the knowledge and skills they gained. This initiative aligns with the broader goal of fostering a chemical-free lifestyle and promoting sustainable practices within the community.
