Embark on a journey with FICCI FLO Kolkata to the heart of spirituality and culture, as they delve into the enchanting cities of Ayodhya and Lucknow. From divine darshans to industrial insights, this trip was nothing short of extraordinary. Picture this: as the 63 members landed in Ayodhya, they were greeted with traditional mantras by Gurukul students, setting the tone for the divine experiences that awaited them.
A quick stop at the Cygnet hotel for hi-tea fuelled their anticipation for what lay ahead. Their spiritual journey unfolded with visits to sacred sites: the Ram Lalla Temple, where bhajans filled the air with reverence, and Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan where history and faith intertwined seamlessly. The evening brought an intimate rendezvous with the Prince of Ayodhya at Raj Sadan, where tales of the city’s past came alive over delectable snacks. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the group gathered by the banks of the Saryu river for a soul-stirring Aarti, followed by a dinner where the mayor shed light on Ayodhya’s modern evolution. But the adventure didn’t end there.
The next day In Lucknow, they stepped into the world of fashion at the House of Kotwara, where every corner whispered tales of elegance and tradition. From shopping for intricate chikankari outfits to delving into poetry with Muzzafar Ali, it was a feast for the senses. Their culinary journey reached new heights at the Taj Mahal Hotel, where they indulged in a five-course Awadhi feast, mingling with local members and savouring the flavours of Lucknow.
But amidst the spiritual and cultural immersion, there was room for enlightenment at Balrampur Cheeni Mills. Witnessing the transformation of waste into green fuel under the leadership of Mrs. Minakshi Saraogi left them in awe of innovation and sustainability. As the journey ended, FICCI FLO Kolkata members left with hearts full of gratitude and minds brimming with inspiration. This trip was not just about sightseeing—it was about forging connections, fostering empowerment, and embracing the richness of India’s heritage.
