Internship of Differently Abled Persons

The DNI team at FLO facilitated 6 month paid internships for differently abled persons with Advantage Foods, Chennai. 5 candidates with disability, of which 2 were girls were identified by the DNI team and they commenced their internship @ Writer’s Cafe on Nov 26, 2023 with a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month. All the candidates have successfully completed their internship this month and received certificates of completion at an elegant event. Very happy to state that the two girl candidates have been offered jobs at Advantage Foods.
We had the distribution of certificates to them at Writer’s Cafe, Gopalapuram on 7th May 2024.
The certificate distribution went off very well. 4 candidates placed by the DNI team of FLO were there with their families. Tarun Mahadevan of Advantage Foods and his team were present. Divya Abhishek , Niyati Mehta and Subha Srikanth represented FLO Chennai Tarun is open to training more such candidates after June and requested us to source them.
